I am sorry to report, however, that I have been clean for the last 14 years and currently a Ph.D candidate while also teaching at a University and being the proud parent of a 13 yo daughter.

With that said, it would be nice if you provided some type of general argument against needle exchange or at least critique our evidence-based health program in particular. That way, I would still think your position is wrong, but at least it would be well thought out instead of being merely reactionary, selfish and uninformed.

My guess is that you are not those things, but rather your polemic is merely a comedic attempt at showing your unconscious solidarity with reducing injection-related HIV transmission in our beloved city. For that, we desperately need your support.
